There are too few studies about the relation between ALS and cell senescence!

There are too few studies about the relation between ALS and cell senescence!
Eltnn@tot546Te Friday 16th June 2023, 22:46:58A priori, I could see how cell senescence is involved in ALS. Maybe they accelerate progression by killing senescent neurons when they can still kind of function, but it is also possible that senescent non-neuronal cells in the CNS are contributing to neuron death.
When I search in Pubmed with keywords "amyotrophic" and "senescence", only a few studies come out.
Any thoughts?
